Bespoke Garden Room Gym by Lomax + Wood, Essex

This handsome bespoke garden room was designed to provide a gym and storage area, allowing the family to work out from home. The style was designed to suit the rural setting, set amongst the fields and tress of rural Essex.

The log cabin construction of the garden room was with a 68mm pre-treated timber external section, 30mm wall insulation and internal boards. The roof with 40mm insulation and black shingles. Additional boards were selected to increase the height to allow specialist gym equipment, Sliding doors with sidelights ensure natural daylight floods the gym area and also allows the users to workout while enjoying the beautiful garden,

As the building was to be used as a gym a screed floor was selected for the bespoke garden room onto which black 20mm high impact proprietary floor tiles were placed from a specialist floor company designed for this very purpose.

The windows and doors were factory finished, double glazed with safety glass, espagnolette locking, fully weather-stripped and key locking handles.

Lomax + Wood was asked to provide the Gold Service, which included design, electrics, sourcing the floor tiles, a brick plinth for the foundation beam to sit on and overall installation. In addition to the Gold Service the customer can select Bronze or Silver.
